I am not Dating your Boyfriend

My sister Katey and I had just moved from a small town in the south to a large city and started getting invited to a lot of parties. About a week after we moved to the city we went to our first party there. Katey was the social one and I was always pretty quiet and shy, and stayed very close to Katey because I had never been around this many people.

We had been there less than an hour and some girl started looking at me and I could hear her talking about me. " She said yes she is the one over there dressed in black." I pulled on Katye's sleeve and said Katey that girl is talking about me. She said no Julzzz you are just being paranoid. A few moments later the girl started pointing at me and I started to get worried. Then she started moving toward me and yelling.

She said I am going to beat the crap out of you. I said but I don't even know you. She said her name was Jenny and that I had been dating her boyfriend Brett. I said Jenny I have only been in this town a week and I don't know anyone here yet. She then said I was lying and she was going to beat me up anyway. I said Jenny I will not fight over a guy I have never dated and don't even know. She was still ranting and some people pulled her out of the room.

About 2 weeks later we were at another party and I heard someone yell, hey Brett down the hall. I went up to him and said do you date a girl named Jenny ? He said not anymore that girl is crazy she totally destroyed my car. We broke up a few months ago. Then I told him she tried to beat me up for dating him. He told me I was lucky that I didn't get in a fight with her and that she was certifiably crazy.

A few weeks after that Brett and I did start dating. Ironically about a month later Brett, Katey, and I were at another gathering. Guess who walked in. Yes it was Jenny. I said Katey what am I going to do now? Thankfully Jenny did nothing. She just had this evil grin on her face, that said, see I told you so. About 2 months later I wished I never met Brett. The strangest things in life can happen.
