Encapsulating Time

There is a song called Time in a Bottle with beautiful lyrics, some of which are, "If I could save time in a bottle"

The first thing that I'd like to do

Is to save every day

Til eternity passes away

Beautiful words, by Jim Croce. My sister had the song played at her wedding. We can not save time in a bottle, but we can do, is to make the most of each day, until we can time travel and then maybe. I can not make everyone happy or make everyone laugh all the time. Ironically, that makes me a little sad. I try to focus on the positive, but to be human, I guess happiness and sadness are all part of the picture and we have to experience it all. It would be nice if I could waive a wand and make everyone happy. That is clearly not going to happen and worrying about it will do no good. There was a movie a long time ago called Crimes of the heart, where one of the sisters tried to kill herself by sticking her head in an oven, apparently the mother had hung herself. In the hospital the sister said she knew why the mom, had tried to commit suicide, she had a really bad day, and that people in that family needed to stop having those days. While I don't think we can stop having those days, we need to see beyond them. Tomorrow you could win the lottery or meet the perfect mate. How will you know if today never sees tomorrow. Life holds some amazing secrets that will make you laugh and encapsulate you with happiness. It also holds some bad times and tears. We have to experience it all and there is beauty in all of it, so lets see what tomorrow brings because I know there will be some wonder and amazing times in the near future that we need to experience. Lets continue the adventure. I want to see the full story, don't you?
