Things that make us smile

We have so many things going on everyday. I think its important to think about things we care about, and the things that make us smile. Reminds me of when my daughters were younger. I had decided I was going to raise my daughters differently, than how I was raised and not just spank them, or tell them who was in control. Instead, I would say lets talk about it. My older daughter had this little red chair, I believe she was about 7 at the time. One day, I was astonished, she pulled up her chair and said mom we should just talk about some things, so I sat down and we chatted. I didn't know she had even heard me. I listened and we talked. I had no idea she understood what I was saying. Such a cherished moment..

Wouldn't it be nice if more people in government could just say lets sit down and talk about it. Maybe it would make the world a better place. Just thoughts I had today. Comments are always good. Have an amazing day if you want to.
