Staying Grounded When You Really Want To Fly

I find it is really hard to stay grounded when you really want to fly. My mind wants to wander to other places while stability is important. I find myself doing time travel and wondering, sometimes wishing, I were somewhere a bit more mystical or at least more fun. I try not to do this in office meetings, but sometimes it happens. That is why I love books you can travel other places and never leave the room. Sometimes there are to many schools of thought and you have to choose one.
There is an old song by an iconic band named Rush. The words state " If you choose, not to choose than still you've made a choice. " Sometimes I find those to be most complicated, and for me it is better to make that choice, than to let life happen, or it can be like a box of chocolates and you get what you get, which could be surprising or disturbing. Then there is a school of thought that says its all an illusion anyway.
All of this makes staying in the moment difficult, and could mess with your sanity, if you let it. So today I took a walk to clear my mind and focus on the Big Kahuna in the sky. He helps me with clarity in knowing that something greater is looking out for us. I hope your day takes you exactly where you want to be, with all this thought, I think I will have another cup of coffee and ponder some more.
